Title: Environmental Engineering Summer Intern 2025a
As part of John Deere's Environmental team, our Environmental Interns candidates will assist with the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Programs that impact a manufacturing facility and support the environmental compliance aspects of the factory.
Some examples of activities that can be performed:
Execute facility inspections to review compliance with environmental regulations and EMS requirements
Take ownership of environmental program: stormwater, chemical management, wastewater, waste, etc.
Explore and implement waste, energy or water reduction projects.
Explore and implement environmental risk reduction projects
Develop Power BI Dashboard or Power Apps

What Skills You Need
Pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale required.
Project management experience.
Basic knowledge of engineering statics and introductory knowledge of environmental regulations.
Skill in using Microsoft Power BI or related tools.
