Title: Infrastructure Engineer - Mainframe Security - 74499
As an Infrastructure Engineer for John Deere located in Moline, Illinois, you will provide systems programming support for mainframe-based Security Infrastructure. You will also identify, analyze, select and apply appropriate new information technology infrastructure components within a diverse environment as required to support strategic business plans and processes.
Apply information analysis to resolve infrastructure and security problems of medium complexity and medium in risk
Perform root cause analysis which includes detailed analysis to assist in the effective remediation of the problem
Manage elements of the current infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance in an integrated environment
Participate in or lead work to apply technology to meet specific business needs, work on more difficult tasks, and on occasion provide work direction for others and is a backup for other leaders and technical resources

What Skills You Need
Experience in a Mainframe security, mainframe systems administration, or operations role (2+ years).
Knowledge of configuration and maintenance of zOS Mainframe Security software, services and synchronization via RACF, Blockade, RRSF, Vanguard products. (2+ years)
Practical knowledge and implementation experience with SSL Certificates (2+ years)
Effective communications skills, written and verbal, necessary to convey technical information to someone with any degree of technical understanding (2+ years)
Experience working and delivering in an Agile/Scrum team environment (2+ years)
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with z/OS operating system components, facilities and commands
Experience with OMC FLASH, JCL, TSO, ISPF and NETVIEW
Programming experience with IBM Assembler, SAS, CLIST, HTML, PHP, Perl, Python or other programming languages
Experience with JES3 facilities and commands
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline
