Title: Infrastructure Engineer - 73210

Your Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Engineer II you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of changes to the Global Oracle Databases and engineered systems within established processes. The role will provide support and maintenance by planning work and coordination with others to deliver functionality. In this role you will be responsible to identify and implement modernization and automation ideas.

  • Providing Administration for Global Oracle Databases and Engineered Systems

  • Implementing Version upgrades, automation, and continuous improvement projects

  • Performing root cause analysis for problems and Incidents

  • Ensure availability, stability, and integrity of database systems

  • Providing on call support in defined time window on a rotational basis

What Skills You Need

  • Hands on experience in Oracle Database, RAC, GoldenGate, OEM and Engineered System

  • Hands on experience on Linux and shell scripting

  • Experience as Oracle DBA/Engineered System Administrator

  • Good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues

  • Demonstrated passion for technical learning and implementing ideas leading to Automations and process improvements

  • Good Communication Skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 8 or more years of experience in Information Technology

  • 6 or more years of experience in handling Oracle Database, OEM and Engineered System

  • 2 or more years of experience working in an Agile environment

  • 2 or more years of experience in managing support, requests, and incident

  • Experience as Oracle database administrator

  • Experience working in a team environment and supporting team members

  • Demonstrated passion for technical learning and identifying areas for Innovation and Automation

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience.

  • Certification in Oracle Database Administration
