As a Manager of Technical Accounting for John Deere located in Moline, IL, or Des Moines, IA, you will.
Provide unit counsel in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Assist with Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) filings
Support integration of new businesses
Research complex accounting topics

What Skills You Need
10 or more years of US GAAP experience
10 or more years of financial reporting experience
Excellent communication skills
Experience with technical accounting concepts
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn
What Makes You Stand Out
Masters degree or CPA
Demonstrated knowledge and experience researching and documenting new accounting guidance and the accounting treatment of complex issues
Financial statement audit or reporting experience at a public accounting firm and/or a large, multi-national public company
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in Accounting
