Title: Material Coordinator Lead - 3rd Shift - 94602
Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position
Your Responsibilities
As a Material Coordinator Lead on 3rd shift for John Deere Seeding Moline located in Moline, IL, you will be the lead contact for the off-shift production control team, implement and manage the off-shift tool, and communicate end of shift report(s). In addition, you will:
Provide coverage plans and training to off-shift production control team
Communicate part availability issues and resolution to operations and other key stakeholders
Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability
Work closely with several functional areas including operations, engineering, supply management and material flow to root cause and correct material shortages, inventory discrepancies, reporting issues, COGI and consumption issues
Implement the output from the engineering release and change management process
Provide information to operators for system locations, track and request critical parts and locate missing or lost loads

What Skills You Need
3 or more years of proven organizational experience handling multiple projects or tasks
1 or more years of experience leading a team or project and delivering results
Experience with a Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system, such as SAP
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with an emphasis on effective written and verbal communication
Effective documentation, planning and decision-making skills
Able and willing to work variable shifts and/or extended hours to support the production schedule, including Saturdays
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with Order Fulfillment, Supply Management and/or Material Flow processes
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations
Knowledge of Kanban and other delivery methods
Experience leading meetings and speaking in front of a group
Experience influencing without authority
Experience with Power BI
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, or Accounting/Finance
