Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Des Moines IA OR Moline IL Function: Information Technology Title: Part-Time Student-IT-Des Moines IA Or Moline IL - 71659 This position can be located in either the Des Moines, Iowa, or Moline, Illinois, location. The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule. Your Responsibilities + Learns how to identify, analyze and apply information technology and business practices to support strategic business process/plans + Participates as required to design, develop, test and integrate technology of low to medium complexity + Participates in the implementation of information technology and business processes of low to medium complexity + Performs activities according to project plans and schedule What Skills You Need + Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Analytics or equivalent; others may apply + Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university + Graduation date of May 2022 or later + Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above + Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis + 16-20 hours/week during the academic year + 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester + Experience with programming languages such as R or Python What Makes You Stand Out + Good interpersonal skills + High level of attention to detail and accuracy + Familiarity with data and analytics concepts + Knowledge of cloud environment and development concepts + Eager to develop both his/her own skills and those of others What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go.
