Title: Part Time Student IT - Moline, IL - 62897
Performs data administration or systems administration and related support.
Supports training staff in a variety of ways such as providing support materials, documenting, administrating processes, or being a resource on specialized training projects.
Performs administrative and clerical tasks required to support training department/unit/center.
Provides a variety of tactical tasks to support training activities such as support of a Web based learning system, Information Technology (IT), computer software or hardware, and coordinating training programs.
May assist in the development of training
What It Takes
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
Administrative experience such as scheduling, planning, utilizing office equipment and other clerical activities
Skill in planning and organizing.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
Graduation date May 2021 - requirement of the program is you are available to work a minimum of 12 months prior to graduation.
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
Pursuing a bachelors degree in communications or IT, others may apply
A Strong Candidate Will Also Have
Presentation skills using a variety of media
Knowledge of training processes, systematic training approach, adult learning principles
Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.
