This position can be located in or around one of these cities: Waterloo, IA, Des Moines, IA, or Ottumwa, IA.
Your Responsibilities
As a Regional Environmental Manager for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, Waterloo, IA, Des Moines, IA, or Ottumwa, IA you will:
Provide technical and process support to major manufacturing facilities within the region (US and Canada) to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
Manage a regulatory specialist who is responsible for the Waterloo Operations Air compliance.
Provide oversight and direction for sites in the region (US and Canada) on ISO 14001:2015 certification requirements.

What Skills You Need
Experience providing technical oversight for environmental compliance
Effective communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels of the company
Experience directing the implementation and support of environmental regulations and management systems
Experience managing and developing an environmental team to support companywide strategies
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally (Canada) up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
Experience working with complex air permitting such as PSD or Title V permits.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
