Your Responsibilities
As a Remediation Manager for Deere & Company World Headquarters located in Moline, Illinois, you will:
Directly responsible for risk management and oversight of the global remediation project portfolio, including responsibility for financial reporting on remediation liabilities, presenting quarterly financial updates, and ensuring budgets and projections for necessary accruals.
Develop long-term remedial solutions in a sustainable manner that are protective of human health, welfare, and the environment.
Monitor and review regulatory changes in remedial technologies and contaminants to be able to understand implications to the business.
Maintain close liaison with internal and external stakeholders, examples include legal, real estate, communications, finance, accounting, public affairs and regulatory agencies.

What Skills You Need
Experience providing technical oversight for remediation projects
Experience planning and leading complex projects
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience developing and implementing strategic plans, including obtaining input and buy-in from key stakeholders
Ability to travel internationally and/or domestically up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
HAZWOPER 40-hour certification per OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.20.
5 or more years of direct remediation project management in a leadership position, including financial responsibilities
Background in disciplines such as geology, hydrology, or earth sciences
Direct experience with with multi-phase extraction, groundwater pump and treat, air sparge/soil vapor extraction, prescribed excavations, groundwater injections, and long-term monitored natural attenuation
Experience with a variety of contaminants impacting diverse media (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and vapor intrusion)
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field
