Title: Senior Administrative Assistant - 77039
As a Senior Administrative Assistant at John Deere Seeding Group in Moline, Illinois, you will perform a full range of administrative support duties of a confidential and challenging nature.
Facilitate workflow through the Director's office using organizational knowledge to determine how to handle incoming requests and assignments, including work going to and from other managers.
Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements and maintain appointment calendars for management and coordinate meeting amenities and logistics.
Convey Director's instructions and requirements to others exchanging information with senior managers on the Director's behalf.
Additionally you will...
Receive and refer visitors and telephone callers within the department, referring calls to different divisions, countries, or companies in multiple languages.
Research, resolve and respond to inquiries/concerns from internal/external customers, escalating complex issues for resolution as appropriate.
Organize/maintain records of projects and correspondence, follow up on pending items; facilitate/organize workflow through the Director's office, ensuring follow-up items are addressed.
Gather, create, maintain, and summarize sensitive or confidential data from various sources completing reports and special projects providing timely information to various customers. Distribute information as appropriate to department members or internal/external customers. Analyze data and resolve discrepancies following prescribed procedures.
Update and maintain databases, systems applications, or files to ensure accurate and current information is available. Develop and maintain more complex web sites with basic web-publishing software applications.
Create and maintain sensitive records; use data to prepare letters and memoranda at the direction of the Manager or for Director's signature and prepare documents for distribution

What Skills You Need
Two or more years’ administrative support experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive data
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office 365 (MS Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive) plus intranet and internet functions
Data entry/keyboarding skills
Excellent verbal and written communication with emphasis on persuasive communication and time management skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge to operate standard office equipment (photocopier, scanner, fax machine, telephone)

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Degree in Administrative or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
