Title: Senior Information Security Engineer - 70970

As a Senior Information Security Engineer for the PKI Team with a focus in both the enterprise and product spaces , you will enable delivery teams to build security into their products and services. You will enable cryptography solutions including, but not limited to, certificate lifecycle management, code signing, and key management. This includes providing services (e.g., reviews, consulting, and coaching) and leading development of solutions (e.g., playbooks, tools, policies, and standards) that help teams understand and implement cryptography-based controls. To accomplish this, you will:

  • Partner across IT as a cryptography/PKI expert to define, enable, and scale security practices leveraging modern cryptography and security principles, including certificate lifecycle management, proactive monitoring and alerting, and automation components

  • Proactively engage with delivery teams to grow their knowledge of cryptography services provided by the enterprise and provide easy-to-implement security solutions for teams

  • Partner with external vendors to deliver best in class solutions and integrations with internal systems.

  • Partner with other Global IT Security SMEs to support security standards and guidelines and create new cryptography standards and guidelines as threats and technology solutions evolve

Proven Technical Skills and Experiences

  • Experience is delivery of complex IT solutions and/or in an Information Security Engineer role (5+ years)

  • Experience with embedded systems, software development, and hardware to assist teams with implementation of full stack cryptography-based solutions

  • Foundational technical aptitude related to Cloud computing – the risks and benefits of using a vendor’s remote servers to store, manage and process an organization’s data (2+ years)

  • Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment (3+ years)

  • Expertise in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures (5+ years)

  • System administration, supporting multiple platforms and applications, and change management (5+ years)

  • Experience with software development including API integration (3+ years)

  • Deep understanding of Disaster recovery, technologies, and methods

Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies

  • Experience managing vendor and integrated partner relationships, including influencing solution roadmaps and technical offerings

  • Capable of collaborating with multiple technical and business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions

  • Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution

  • Proven experience as a work lead providing technical coaching and mentoring to others

  • Proven strong leadership skill and experience, influence effectively, ability to resolve impediments in a timely manner

  • Learning Agility / Innovative - desire and openness for continuous technical learning and identifying areas for application

  • Knowledge of analysis practices for role-specific security functions, processes, and procedures as well as a foundation in the NIST Cyber Security Framework

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
