Title: Senior Product Development Engineer - 92197
Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position
As a Senior Product Development Engineer on the Air Seeding Structures and Integration Team for John Deere Seeding located in Moline, IL, you will lead and provide technical guidance to a team of design engineers working on Air Seeding EPDP/New Product Development projects. In addition, you will:
Develop and manage overall design plan for projects
Develop innovative solutions to machine and system level design challenges
Collaborate closely with the project System Engineer and the entire cross functional EPDP/New Product Development (Enterprise Product Delivery Process) team to ensure design requirements are being met

What Skills You Need
5 or more years of product engineering experience with agricultural or off-road equipment
3 or more years of EPDP experience for new product development
Experience with overall machine configuration development including the design of structural parts and systems
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
What Makes You Stand Out
Advanced engineering or business degree
Training and experience in Systems Engineering
Training and experience in Six Sigma tools
Diverse experience in other areas of product development such as PVV, Quality, Manufacturing, Analysis, etc.
Understanding of agricultural practices, John Deere and competitive equipment, and customer requirements
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering
