Title: Software Automation Engineer - 81454

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for IAAS Data Center located in Moline, IL, you will….

  • Work on a product team and support product design by planning its work, interfacing with stakeholders, making automation recommendations and implementing them, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product or products it supports.

  • Design complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or work on a complete product of a broad scope and solve well-defined problems with little guidance.

  • Identify opportunities to automate or script to solve problems

  • Create interfaces/dashboards or other ways to improve the customers’ experience

What Skills You Need

  • 3-5 + years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management and software engineering automation

  • Strong experience with with scripting tools such as Perl and/or Python, Ansible, etc) and optimization

  • Understanding of applications development environment, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints (4+ years)

  • Proven deep experience leveraging DevOps and DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery such as Github and Jenkins

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with networking, cloud networking, monitoring, Data Center infrastructure, virtualization, and/or storage is a plus.

  • Experience with Machine Language and Artificial Intelligence

  • Strong experience interfacing with stakeholders, making automation recommendations

  • Experience with tools such as JavaScript

  • Proven deep experience leveraging DevOps and DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery such as Github and Jenkins


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering
