Title: Software Engineer, Master Data Management - 66358
As a Software Engineer in the Master Data Management area, for the John Deere Enterprise (Moline), you will get the opportunity to work on mission critical products and set the data engineering direction to Dealer / Customer Master data within the Data & Analytics space. In this position, you will:
Collaborate with other engineers to develop data engineering pipelines, API development and deliver high quality data accessibility solutions to meet the growing needs of the product's business requirements
Work as an active member of the Master Data Engineering scrum team
Participate in discussions with the scrum team and collaborate with Senior Engineers and the product teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements
Participate in a variety of efforts related to front and back-end development (full-stack)
Participate in the analysis and design of solutions to improve quality and performance
Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of production support issues

Proven Technical Skills and Experiences
1 or more years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions in Java web development with Spring and Restful APIs leveraging change management
1 or more years of experience with applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
1 or more years of experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
Experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Working understanding of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures and concept of microservices
Experience working with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks
1 or more years of varied relational database experience, like Postgres / MongoDB, DB2, SAP HANA
1 or more years of experience in AWS related technologies
Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies
Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution
Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Proven experience as working in a team environment
What Makes You Stand Out
Hands-on experience in Python / Spark
Experience with version control tool like Github
Performance testing/tuning experience
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field
