As a Software Engineer located in Moline,IL and part of a Scrum Team, you are responsible to complete user stories following development standards and software architecture used in Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) Product (Client and Server). In addition, you will;
Complement test cases for owned modules and follow technical guidance on application development, technical topics and tool usage
Address project coding activities, resolving issues, testing multiple applications, pair programming and share knowledge with other software engineers
Propose new development tools and models
Provide input on alternatives for coding and testing
Provide support for MPM Product for the delivered functionality
What Skills You Need
Experience in the design, development, testing and integration of complex software solutions leveraging change management; specifically, with front-end and back-end designs, development (C#.NET, VB.NET, JAVA, Windchill).
Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
Experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery utilizing tools like GitHub and Jenkins
Exposure to software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Cypress)
Working understanding of design patterns and loosely coupled architectures
Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / SCP)
