Title: Strategic Communications Lead, DEI & Workforce - 77249
As a Strategic Communications Lead, DEI & Workforce for John Deere located in Moline, IL, you will b ring an innovative mindset to establish robust communication strategies and campaigns that will enhance John Deere’s reputation as a technology leader and employer of choice, while instilling employee pride. In addition, you will:
Build strong relationships across the enterprise with stakeholders who are establishing and driving our DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and HR strategies. You will work closely with these stakeholders to develop communications that foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all voices are heard and included.
Provide thought leadership and manage plans that will be implemented across internal and external audiences. This will include conducting research and benchmarking to gather audience insights and assess communication opportunities. You will leverage this information to influence, support, and facilitate cultural change through communications.
Navigate a matrixed organizational structure, collaborating within the department and larger organization, including working closely with external agencies.

What Skills You Need
10 or more years of developing and executing strategic communication plans, including aligning goals across complex organizations
10 or more years of demonstrated innovative thinking, including a demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive change
10 or more years of developing partnerships and building trust across all levels of a large corporate organization
10 or more years of complex project or program management experience
5 or more years of relevant DEI experience
5 or more years of supporting strategic HR initiatives in a large corporate environment
Ability to travel up to 25%

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism
Master’s degree preferred
