Title: System Administrator - 73226

As a System Administrator in I&O’s Operating System team, you will build, integrate, deliver and manage, server operating systems to enable compute platforms for all John Deere environments.


  • Build and improve server operating systems including Windows and Unix/Linux

  • Participate effectively in an Agile team environment

  • Solve well defined problems with little guidance

  • Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology

What Skills You Need

  • 2+ years of server administration and support

  • 2+ years of experience working with orchestration tools including (Puppet, Terraform)

  • 2+ years working in an Agile / Lean environment

  • Proven communication skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with communicating technical solutions with peers

  • Passionate innovative and willing to learn new technologies

  • Proven experience working in a team environment

  • Knowledge of CI/CD


  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field
