Title: Technical Communicator Lead - 96866

Onsite/Remote: Partial Remote Position

This position may be located in Waterloo, IA; Dubuque, IA; Des Moines, IA; Olathe, KS; Cary, NC; Fuquay Varina, NC or Augusta, GA per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.

Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Communicator Lead for Ag and Turf located in Moline, IL , you will…

  • Develop plan and lead the execution of technical communicator growth for global dealers in collaboration with regional team.

  • Develops, designs, and leads the execution of projects, community of practice and learning path for technical communicators.

  • Monitors ongoing projects/program status, develop reports & metrics and maintains communications with leadership and affected stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal and external global stakeholders, including dealers to ensure readiness of technical communicator growth and effectiveness.

  • Support development and integration of innovative systems, processes, and tools to improve technician efficiency and reduce escalations.

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of dealer/field experience with focus on aftermarket

  • 2 or more years of experience with project management

  • 1 or more years of experience with digital solutions

  • Demonstrated experience working with global stakeholders.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and organization skills.

  • Ability to work onsite 2 days per week in any of the following John Deere locations: Waterloo, IA; Dubuque, IA; Des Moines, IA; Olathe, KS; Cary, NC; Fuquay Varina, NC or Augusta, GA

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 1 or more years of experience driving initiatives that required change management.

  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing data and develop insights.


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or a similar discipline
