Title: Software Engineer - 74190
As a Software Engineer for Site Reliability Engineering at John Deere, you will be responsible for working with teams around our enterprise to help:
Evaluate, design and implement software solutions to help development teams with operations and support focused on reliability, resiliency, and security of our applications.
Collaborates with other site reliability engineers and product team members to ensure success.
Participates in problem postmortems to understand issues, learn from issues, and share any changes in automation, recovery, and documentation with other site reliability engineers.
Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development.

What Skills You Need
Experience as a developer writing code for various applications.
Experience using DevOps or eXtreme Programming practices as part of development.
Experience in owning the operation and infrastructure of applications.
Experience using cloud solution providers (like AWS, Azure, etc) to host your application and services.
Experience with consuming and writing APIs
Strong Communication Skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with several different DevOps tooling (Ex: Grafana, Kibana, AWS tooling like X-Ray and Cloudwatch, Prometheus, etc. Drone, Azure DevOps)
Experience with several different infrastructure as code tools (Ex: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Salt)
Unix/Linux administration experience.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field.
