Title: Dealer Development Specialist - 72411

Your Responsibilities

As a Dealer Development Specialist for John Deere Ag & Turf Marketing Region 4, located in Olathe, KS you will lead dealer development optimization projects, support continuous improvement , maintain optimization tools & resources, and support dealers in leveraging and implementing best practices to enable improved dealer processes and performance. In addition, you will:

  • Champion Total AOR Leadership Key Focus Areas for Dealer’s B2C capabilities and competencies to accelerate the progress of dealer organizations toward higher levels of sustainable balanced performance

  • Consult with and coach dealers and company personnel to identify B2C sales management and performance opportunities and develop plans to address

  • Develop and execute repeatable B2C optimization projects with dealers that produce predictable, improved, and sustainable business performance indicators

  • Provide coaching on developmental opportunities for dealers and consultation support to company personnel

  • Develop and maintain B2C sales processes, tools, and resources for use by company and dealer personnel that provide consistent dealer development practices and support continuous improvement

  • Lead and facilitate Sales Manager Dealer Performance Groups

What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience in a role that required core business skills (organization, self-starter, accountability, etc.)

  • 3 or more years of experience in a role that required building rapport quickly, building relationships, team collaboration, etc.

  • 3 or more years of experience with John Deere B2C Product Portfolios (Compact Utility Tractors, Riding Lawn Equipment, and Compact Utility Vehicles) and subsequent value propositions of each product line

  • 3 or more years of experience in a role that required ongoing learning, development, and innovation

  • 3 or more years of experience leading and facilitating groups

  • 2 or more years of experience delivering formal and informal presentations and providing ongoing communication and follow-up, etc.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience in sales or supporting individuals in a sales capacity

  • Experience with John Deere Dealers and strong working knowledge of dealer processes

  • Experience in online sales processes and supporting lead management applications

  • Proficiency with Tableau, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and other common desktop applications

  • Ability to use analytics to drive better business insights

  • Project management experience

  • Ce rtification as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent professional qualifications (examples of but not limited to CPM, CSM, MPM)

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance and/or Accounting related discipline
