Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center office in Poznan to newly creating Supply Management Services Department we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:


What You’ll Do

The general task of Supply Management Manager is to create, structure and develop new Supply Management Services department in John Deere Business Service Center, Poland.

In addition the position involves:

  • Recruiting and hiring of Supply Management team

  • Supervision of extended supply management team in Poland, development of people, back-up and vacation planning

  • Budget planning (travel, training, HR)

  • Support the Region 2 Supplier Development Team

  • Networking with all Region 2 Factories

  • Analysis of influencing factors and interfaces of the supply chain (support of global visibility project)

  • Planning and implementation of material flows in collaboration with suppliers and John Deere units

  • Process optimizations in consultation with various functional areas and John Deere units

  • Support execution of cross-unit supply management and logistic strategies

  • Analysis of supply chain KPIs

What It Takes

Long-term managerial experience and competences are essential at this position.

We also require:

  • University degree in Business/Management and/or Supply/Management or Logistics

  • Self-independence together with ability to self-train and develop

  • Project management skills and field experience

  • Good team leadership and communication skills

  • Experience in dealing with SAP and MS Office applications

  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

  • German language skills would be helpful in addition to English.
