Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:


What You’ll Do

As a Translation Coordinator for John Deere you will handle translation projects for all technical publications in currently up to 40 languages. In addition, you will:

  • Ensure timeliness and data verification

  • Be responsible for project initiation, deadlines, processing, assignment of translation projects and project completion

  • Interface worldwide with platform authoring, translation service providers, publishing and accounting department

  • Maintain translation projects using translation and authoring workflow tools

  • Consult and support authoring groups on translation issues

  • Support standards and practices that insure quality delivery of translated materials

What It Takes

We need an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment. Ideally, you will have a Degree in Communication & Translation or adequate work experience.

We also require:

  • Project management experience (e.g. project coordinator in translation agency)

  • Experience with workflow systems, database administration, supply management process

  • Good organizational, interpersonal, negotiation and team player skills

  • Ability to make decisions based on department policy/criteria with minimal supervision

  • Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office Tools.

    Strong candidate will also have:

  • Translation experience with technical publications

  • Knowledge of authoring and publishing processes

  • Knowledge of additional languages
