Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

EDI Project Lead M/F

What You’ll Do

As the EDI Project Lead you will ensure a smooth and proper data exchange with our international supply base.

This includes the following tasks:

  • Manage the Seeburger Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system

  • Take leading role in the EDI team mentoring & supporting EDI coordinators

  • Consult managers in the decision process for new EDI processes & solutions

  • Manage EDI project execution plans to enhance the existing EDI services

  • Support EDI onboarding process on business and technical level

  • Screen global EDI processes for potential business improvements

  • Serve as a business process and systems expert in order to resolve complex interfactory process and systems challenges

  • Manage EDI process documentation

  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for regional EDI processes

  • Operate in the factory SAP ERP system R/3

What It Takes

We need an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal, who embraces challenges and likes to work in a global, interdisciplinary team. Ideally you have University degree in field of Business, IT, logistics and/or generally in technical area.

Please do not hesitate to apply if you have:

  • Professional background in supply management,

  • Basic background in IT, finance or order fulfillment

  • Strong Seeburger EDI System (BIS 6) knowledge

  • Strong EDI message knowledge (EDIFACT, VDA, X12)

  • Strong EDI processes knowledge and their business impacts

  • Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructures (database, networks, etc.)

  • Strong analytical skills and affinity to numbers

  • Strong collaboration attitude working as a global team player

  • Strong skills in interpersonal communications and conflict resolution

  • Ability to work self-motivated & independent with EDI teams throughout the enterprise

  • Ability to manage and improve EDI processes conveying business requirements to IT Team

  • Ability to lead without authority and driving change within the global organization

  • Ability to speak with impact and generate sounding project plans

  • Strong in computer systems (SAP, Microsoft Office)

  • German language knowledge (nice to have)
