Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
MM SAP Support User M/F
Supports consistent use of common Supply Management processes and tools to facilitate the proper utilization of established procedures. Utilizes the business software to create view extension of material masters for both manufactured and purchased materials. Administers the central creation of schedule agreements. Executes small projects upon request.
Performs system audits to ensure compliance with the standards allowing for optimization, improvements and correction of errors.
Sets up material masters for both manufactured and purchased materials using the business software.
Creates schedule agreements (blanket purchase orders) centrally and documents standards allowing better control of parameters.
Establishes the relationship between vendor and material by maintaining the source list.
Provides training and expertise regarding complex problem solving within business software workflow (e.g. blocked invoice resolution).
Provides higher level Supply Management Planner support in the interpretation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) advice to provide centralized planning support and/or to special projects.
Identifies process gaps and improvements to current procedures and documentation.
Performs various administrative support tasks, including parameter studies, enhancements to documentation, and on-the-job training to co- workers and sister facilities.
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
Knowledge and application of Supply Management Processes and tools.
Ability to use various department specific computer programs.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and concepts.
Understanding of fundamental business principles and practices.
What You’ll Do
As the View Extender you will be responsible to manage and optimize the parameter settings for Supply Management in region 2
This includes the following tasks:
Set up material masters for both manufactured and purchased materials
Enable supplier interaction by creating scheduling agreements
Establishes the relationship between vendor and material by maintaining the source list
Process work queue requests by internal business partners (especially from buyers)
Perform parameter updates in material master views and scheduling agreements
Perform various administrative support tasks, including parameter studies,
enhancements to documentation and on-the-job training to co-workers
Identify process gaps and improvements to current procedures and documentation
Synchronize documentation updates w/ parameter analysts and process pros
Coordinate & consult with internal business partners enabling their daily business
Operate in the factory SAP system R/3
What It Takes
We need an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal, who embraces challenges and likes to work in a global, interdisciplinary team. Ideally you have University degree in field of Business, IT, logistics and/or generally in technical area.
