Luxembourg is the European Headquarters for John Deere Financial. The primary activity is providing financial services to customers and dealers who want to finance John Deere equipment. John Deere Bank SA (The Company) holds a full banking license and is regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) in Luxembourg. Regulatory Reporting Accountant (m/f)
(Job location: Pozna)
In this position, you will report to the Financial Controller and performs responsibilities related to IFRS, Local GAAP, and other regulatory reporting requirements for the Company and for its subsidiaries/branches located in Europe.This includes the following tasks:
Support the preparation of all financial statements including, notes and other financial disclosures for the Companys IFRS and regulatory filings.
Participate to the preparation of all regulatory reportings for CSSF and other regulators (Central Bank of Luxembourg, Bank of Spain, Financial Conduct Authority in UK, National Bank of Poland, Bank of Italy, Bundesbank) on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Help implementation of any new accounting and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and understand the impacts to the Company.
Update and improve processes/procedures to ensure efficiency, accurate and timely reporting.
What It Takes:
Degree in Accounting/Finance with a min of 3 years in a similar position within a regulated environment
Regulatory reporting experience & knowledge in:
IFRS / Basel III, NBP, ECB, EBA
Accurate, conscientious, detail oriented, flexible with strong interpersonal skills, capacity to solve problems, identify options and propose innovative solutions, self-starter approach
Excellent time management & organization skills, ability to perform high quality work within tight deadlines
Strong computer skills with an appetite to develop reporting with new technologies approach & solutions
Fluency in English. French being an asset.
IT skills: MS Office pack (Oracle and Power BI is a plus)
