GENERAL LEDGER SENIOR ACCOUNTANT M/F

What You’ll Do
The general task of GL Senior Accountant is to perform GL tasks related to month and year closing and maintaining good relations with business partners.
In addition, you will:
migrate GL processes to Poland and prepare necessary documentatio n
take process ownership of certain task groups
work on continuous process improvements
provide training and process development support for local GL Team
closely cooperate with other global John Deere GL teams
act as substitute for GL Team Lead
prepare reports
What It Takes
We need an excellent communicator in English, written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global, interdisciplinary team environment. Ideally, you will have the long-term experience in Finance & Accountancy field, especially in GL related tasks.
We also require:
University degree in Finance/Accounting
Ability to plan and execute tasks independently
Proficiency in English
Accounting knowledge
SAP skills
Experience in business use of MS Excel
Solution-oriented way of working
Analytical skills and affinity to numbers
