What You’ll Do

The general task of Tax Analyst is to provide service for units of John Deere and maintaining good relations with business partners.

In addition, you will:

  • Get relevant data out of different sources, review this data, conduct plausibility checks and prepare the tax returns, EC sales list or INTRASTAT declaration.

  • Coordinate and analyze information required for preparation of returns or estimates and prepares the documents by the appropriate deadlines.

  • Researches and analyzes data that arise using various sources, including on-line systems.

  • Assists with the maintenance and reconciliation of various tax related accounts.

  • Review documents and i.e. invoice documents for compliance

What It Takes

We need an excellent communicator in English, who thrives on solving problems and working in an international team environment.

Required skills:

  • Degree in Tax/Finance/Accounting or similar discipline

  • 3 years experience in VAT

  • Good knowledge of tax laws, i.e. VAT laws.

  • Ability to work with SAP R/3

Ability to perform legal research using tax laws, internet plus various tax databases

  • Experience in business use of MS Excel

  • Solution-oriented way of working

  • Analytical skills and affinity to numbers
