What you’ll do:
Design and implementation for CABs functional testing such as ELECTRICANL Testing (Main Responsibility), HVAC testing, Leak testing, pressure testing, hydrolics testing and industrial engineer for the optimal flow of the equipment. Electronics/electrical systems engineering and advanced engineering for the CABS, in order to detect failures in early process of the assembly. Major Electrical ME Duties
Ensures all functions of CABS are tested in a lean manner while ensuring product quality through end of line electrical testing.
CAB testing and shop floor application subject matter expert. Trains and mentors colleagues.
Ensures all vehicle controllers are programmed with designed software and options are programmed into software to match the BOM of the CAB.
Ensures programming records are properly sent to the software delivery system
Configures JDAAT mistake proofing into end of line testing and controller programming processes.
Provides support and troubleshooting pertaining to the Electrical functionality of the CAB during manufacturing. Investigates, gathers and analyze data and implement solutions.
Ensures data stored by testing/programming applications is easily accessible.
Ensures test failures create Q notes automatically during production cycles.
Plans the manufacturing of CAB software and electrical engineering changes and implements into production.
Leads analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.
What it takes:
Basic Programming experience (C#, SQL, PLC, Labview)
Electrical design programs (Pspice, simulink, capital harness)
Electrical tooling (multimeter, pins removal tools, soldering)
Electrical problem solver
Basic network knowledge (CAN bus communication and ethernet)
Basic knowledge in mechanical structures, hydraulics, pneumatics flows to develop functional testing
Education: Mechatronics Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electro-mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience.
BIG Preference with automovil diagnostics background/experience or control system specialization.
