Main Responsibilities:

  • Establishes employee environment regarding communication, feedback and overall guidance.

  • Supervise semi to highly skilled production wage employees to assure the wage technicians natural work group metrics

  • Responsible to manage the wage technicians natural work group to be assigned

  • Responsible to achieve the goals of the wage technicians natural work group scorecard.

  • Responsible to achieve productivity of the wage technicians natural work group.

  • Ensures that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instruction and tools to successfully do their job.

  • Monitors control plans, troubleshoots workmanship problems and generally supervises production activities to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements.

  • Administers employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit.

  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities

  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

  • Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments

  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What Skills You Need:

Previous experience as production supervisor or equivalent, English Language fluent, SAP Knowledge, Problem Solving Methodologies.

What Makes You Stand Out:

Engineering Background, Drive to results, Supervisor skills, Good communication skills, People Management, experience in Kronos system desire.

Education:

Industrial Engineer Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience.
