Primary Location: Canada (CA) - Saskatchewan (CA-SK) - Regina

As a technical instructor, you will develop and deliver various Agriculture and Turf training programs to dealers, company employees, and customers. Training programs include, but are not limited to products, services, and/or professional skills with heavy emphasis on product features, applications, and product system technologies. Training is primarily delivered in person and may also include distance and online learning. In addition, you will:
Manage logistics involved with class delivery including scheduling, maximizing attendance, preparation of materials, equipment and class administration
Construct and maintain training aids, simulators and classroom exercises
Research training topics to increase subject matter expertise
Utilizes knowledge of training to promote training products, systems and materials
Responsible for classroom/training event administration (acquiring roster, taking enrollment, completing exit evaluations) and communicating results to appropriate personnel or system
Work with field managers and dealers to establish needs
What Skills You Need
Strong mechanical skills with relevant farm machinery knowledge and experience
Strong technical background
Willingness to relocate
Willingness to travel (approximately 25% or more) to meet business needs
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team setting
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions
Valid driver's license
What Makes You Stand Out
Knowledge of learning and development process including areas such as instructional skills, presentation skills, needs assessments, adult learning theory, curriculum development and other such related knowledge and skills
Previous experience or knowledge of dealers and other channels
Marketing and/or product support experience
Strong presentation skills via multi-media methods
Strong understanding of Agronomy and how machinery fits into mechanized agriculture
GPS knowledge and applications in agriculture
Education (or Equivalent Work Experience)
University Degree (Agriculture Sciences or Agricultural / Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Journey Person License in Agricultural or Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician and 5 years’ experience in industry
