John Deere Reman Production: Material Storage & Retrieval in Springfield, Missouri

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary function of this position is to pick and deliver parts to production using E pick and working in the tool crib.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stock and pick raw materials to support all production.

  • Read B.O.M. (Bill of Material) to determine alternate uses. Identify slow moving material.

  • Set primary and secondary bins.

  • Distribute and maintain inventory in tool crib.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to dust, oil, diesel fuel, calibration fluid, and extreme temperature changes.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear. Standing 40%; walking 50%; sitting 10%. Frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds frequently and 80 pounds occasionally. Continuous effort; short work cycles; repetitive motion work.

SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITY/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • 2 years in warehouse environment required.

  • Forklift certification is required.
