John Deere Reman: Material Storage & Retrieval

As a Material Storage & Retrieval employee with John Deere Reman in Springfield, MO, you will:

Perform material storage & retrieval related duties in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

  • Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.

  • Stock and pick raw materials to support production teams.

  • Read Bill of Material (B.O.M) to determine alternate uses and identify slow moving material.

  • Distribute and maintain inventory across production facility.

  • Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.

  • Assist and support other team members.

  • Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Operations occur on 1 st and 2 nd shifts. This posting will be used to fill openings on either shift, subject to facility needs at the time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have at least one of the following:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience

  • Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and performing of repetitive actions.
