Title: Production Supervisor - 79806

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Production Supervisor for John Deere Reman located in Springfield, Mo, you will….

  • Manage and monitor individual and department performance on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals and take corrective action as needed

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective and clear communication practices.

  • Ensure that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instructions and tools to successfully do their job

  • Determine work priorities based on the production schedule and make daily assignments including filling vacancies and assigning overtime to adhere to departure deadlines.

    Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years’ experience with manufacturing operations

  • 2 or more years’ experience with wage employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules

  • 2 or more years’ experience communicating across functions (such as: manufacturing engineering, operations, quality engineering, material flow, supply management and human resources)

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both salary and wage personnel

  • Ability to have crucial conversations to improve work performance and adherence to company policies, procedures, and practices

  • Ability to be flexible to schedule depending on business needs

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams without having direct authority of the team members

  • Experience with pay plans (MVP), CI200, SAP and Excel

  • Cross-functional experience in areas of supply management, manufacturing engineering and quality engineering

  • Experience with capacity and manpower planning

  • Experience with electronics manufacturing

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology, Operations, Business / Management, or Supply Management
