Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

Supply Management Specialist (Cost Projects) M/F

Location: Poznań

What You’ll Do:

As a Supply Management Specialist (Cost Projects) you will support supply management department in all areas of cost reduction activity.

In addition, you will:

  • Manage cost savings and increase projects in a forecast for specific commodities with a focus in the US and Europe.

  • Perform analysis to generate cost reduction opportunities and mitigate cost increases.

  • Clearly communicate the resources or activities needed to activate projects or keep them on track.

  • Work with Supply Management on developing supplier level cost strategies.

  • Support supplier negotiations by using fact-based information based on analysis of quotes, use of cost models, and other appropriate analyses.

  • Facilitate the creation of Long-Term Agreements with Supply Management.

  • Understand and communicate the impact of material/currency forecasts to Supply Management department.

  • Support initiatives to partner with suppliers by performing project management tasks.

    What It Takes:

  • We need an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal, who embraces challenges and likes to work in a global, interdisciplinary team. Ideally you have University degree in field of Economics/Business Management and/or generally in technical area.

  • Experienced in project management; organizational skills

  • Flexible and a goal-oriented person in daily business management

  • German language knowledge is a plus
