John Deere Financial Wholesale Credit Division

The Wholesale Credit Division of John Deere Financial is responsible for managing the credit relationship with the European John Deere dealer and distributor network and their need for inventory financing. For that purpose, we have a local presence responsible for our core markets that cover Europe, Africa and Middle East, supported by a central Wholesale credit department located in Luxembourg. The growing importance of the Polish market for John Deere and the increasing efforts of John Deere to develop world class distribution networks creates an opportunity for the following position.

What You’ll Do

This position supports the Wholesale Credit Manager in managing all dealer credits in Poland. This involves day-to-day account management as well as preparing regular credit proposals for individual dealer accounts.

  • Provides detailed evaluation of financial statements and other information to approve or reject credit according to guidelines established by the Company, and provides relevant recommendations to the management

  • Performs on-going account management which includes monitoring daily transactions to ensure compliance with credit line conditions, credit limit adjustments, liquidating credit lines when appropriate, and collection of past due accounts.

  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with dealers and/or personnel in the Deere Equipment Divisions to more effectively support credit decisions. Some travel may be required.

What It Takes

  • Degree in Finance or Economics, supported by minimum 2 years of experience in credit business or financial analysis of corporate customers) or comparable experience in the manufacturing industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Accurate, well organized, flexible and a good team player

  • High level of analytical skills and competence in data analysis, supported by good PC skills especially Word and Excel

  • Fluent in Polish and English; Ukrainian is a plus
