Title: Supplier Development Engineer
Proactive Manage Supplier Risk of China and SE Asia supply base through the lifecycle, ensure the healthy, capable supply base to support all Units operations. Ensure 100% Action Plans are in good standing in SCRM for high performance risk suppliers.
Quick response to global process of country event risks and drop everything / true needs support for Deere units to support to keep the lines running.
Conduct advanced full capacity/capability planning and assessment, proactive risk planning/validation prior to business awards. Also support Supplier Readiness Review by each phase for EPDP Projects.
As OFRA assessor to execute for all new suppliers as also suppliers with new business awarded on different commodities. Utilize the tool for SD projects.
Collaborates with other experienced supplier development engineers on Supplier Development projects. Supplier Development Tools utilized: Process Mapping, Project Charter Development, Achieving Excellence Analysis, VSM etc.
Accept to support PDP project cost and schedule target while integrate China supply chain.
Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function, organization, industry or product line.
Experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, OFP, scheduling, forecasting, logistics,etc. May be position specific. - 1 - 3 years
Project management experience.
Work experience in a team environment. - 1 - 3 years
Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

University Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Supply Management, Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience.
