Function: Information Technology
Title: IT Integrator - 63590
As the IT Integrator, you will lead the Infrastructure Processes & Services at all NZ Units (WNZ, WFS & Vapormatic). Operating in a dual role, you will have accountability for all IT infrastructure services and projects.
Your main duties will include:
Provides troubleshooting and end user support of the facility infrastructure and production equipment to support production, manufacturing, distribution and maintenance operations.
Monitor and apply changes to current information technology infrastructure, under minimal supervision.
Analyse information to resolve low to moderately complex infrastructure and IT related facilities problems.
Identify and apply appropriate new information technology infrastructure components within a diverse environment to support strategic business plans and processes. Provide onsite assistance/knowledge if needed.
Provide project management of projects limited in scope and complexity related to the facility IT infrastructure, production machines, equipment and IT processes that support the manufacturing, maintenance and/or distribution operation.
Responding to critical production down situations due to IT infrastructure issues affecting manufacturing and/or distribution operations.
IT Business Continuity Planning (BCP) coordination for all Deere operations in New Zealand.
IT asset responsibility for Waratah Factory, Waratah Parts International, Waratah Forestry Services and Vapormatic - resource mobilisation, replenishments, replacements, purchases, disposals and maintenance.
Serves as a member of the Leadership Team for Waratah NZ.
As the IT Integrator, you will have:
Understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development.
Knowledge and skills necessary to implement and maintain infrastructure components which may include communications, private and public network, network access security, database and information access security, middleware, computing hardware and operating systems.
Ability to analyse, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions.
Capable of collaborating with people at all levels of the business to provide information technology solutions.
Skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, supplier management relations and conflict resolution.
A degree in an Information Technology discipline and/or Microsoft / Cisco certifications or equivalent experience will be highly regarded for this position.
As this position supports 6 locations across New Zealand, the successful candidate should be willing to travel and spend on average 1 day per week at a New Zealand Deere location other than the Tokoroa Factory.
