This is a temporary position for 12 months.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Superior technical support for the maintenance engineers team on controls, communication, electrical, electronic and instrumentation.

  • Define and procure the standardization of equipment. - Management of spare parts for equipment and process.

  • Documentation for equipment and process.

  • Knowledge on predictive tools (thermographic, vibration, ultrasound).

  • Knowledge on basic maintenance tools (multitester, oscilloscope, megger).

  • Establish contact with contractors and suppliers.

  • Specialized technical assistance on equipment failures.

  • Generate and attend projects for continuous improvement on equipment and process.

  • Generate and update preventive maintenance and OPM.

  • Coordinate technical training for maintenance people.

  • Define, apply, review and improve safety standards for equipment and process.

  • Review equipment specifications.

  • Participate and Apply safety, environment and ergonomic programs.

  • Responsible for the new equipment installation.

  • Execute projects requested by production customers on equipment improvement.

  • Participate on the contingency and emergency brigades.

What Skills You Need:

  • Knowledge on politics, regulations and objectives related with safety, quality and environment.

  • Knowledge on engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls).

  • Superior knowledge on controls (programming, communication, electrical, electronic and instrumentation). –

  • Knowledge on design (new products, process and installations).

  • Knowledge on subcontracting, indirect materials and purchasing process.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and TPM (JD).

  • Computer and software skills (CAD, engineers tools, basic office tools, MS Office, internet, SAP, MS Outlook).

  • Superior Knowledge on PLC Allen-Bradley (hardware and programming), Ethernet architecture and configuration, data acquisition systems, automatic position control.

  • Medium Skills on CNC Fanuc and Siemens, gauges Marphos.

  • Knowledge on Measurement and calibration equipment.

  • Knowledge on predictive tools (thermographic, vibrations, ultrasound).

  • Knowledge on laboratory and maintenance tools (multitester, oscilloscope, megger).

  • Knowledge on topics related in areas as mechanic, machining geometry, alignment. - knowledge to understand mechanical drawings.

Education (or equivalent experience):

  • Engineer bachelor degree on areas of electronics, mechatronics, instrumentation.

  • 80% English level (speak, read and write).
