Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila (MX-COA) - Torreon

At John Deere, operations is directly responsible for producing equipment that helps feed and clothe people around the world. In operations, change is a constant with the introduction of new products, the implementation of new technology and the recruitment of additional team members to keep pace with our continuing growth.

What you’ll do?

  • Comply with safety, environmental, compliance and quality standards on the production operations.

  • Support safety programs: STOP, SAMS and SERA.

  • Update evacuation list on weekly basis.

  • Report any safety incident that occurs and complete incident report.

  • Attend Material Review Board on daily basis.

  • To have a clear communication of priorities to operators.

  • Ensure start up checklist and TPM routines are properly executed.

  • Follow priorities in order to comply with delivery dates on product shipments.

  • Meet operational execution, linearity, productivity and scrap goals.

  • Comply with Electro Static Discharge standards.

  • Ensure No-fault forward policy.

  • Manage training program for operators (OJT).

  • Provide proper disposal of non-conforming materials.

  • Lead production and shipments daily meeting.

  • Solve issues and corrective actions in agile system, corresponding to production.

  • Support 5S and Continuous Improvement projects.

  • General knowledge of the products applications.

  • Create and share linearity and scrap report.

  • Follow up production dispatch list and meet less than 400 hours of delayed work orders (in red).

  • Maintain strong communication between shifts Complete stay interview with operation personnel on yearly basis.

  • Document disciplinary actions when needed.

  • Manage vacations of wage employees Support Limited Production Builds and Prototypes.

  • Electronics engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
