Title: Materials Packaging Specialist

Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila Motores JD-Torreon

Function: Operations

Main Responsibilities:

• Manages the entire packaging process including packaging design, physical return of containers and project management to ensure warehousing and logistics needs Drives cost reduction and develops process improvements.

• Administration and maintenance of packaging information by component in SAP.

• ·Identification and administration of investment projects for returnable packaging (AFEs).

• ·mprovements control and recording of packaging incidents of productive parts related to engine, axles and machining lines that affect the safety, material, assembly and environmental goals.

• Develops and implements continuous packaging solutions and maintains compliance with packaging standards and integrates processes and procedures throughout the division.

• Provides daily support and manages all inquiries and problems related to packaging and labeling by determining corrective action to find solutions that reduce product damage.

What Skills You Need:

• Knowledge of supply management systems, processes and practices

• Work in a team and collaborative environment

• Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution

• Experience working in SAP

• Fluent communication (Spanish/English), capable to negotiate and transmit clear message and needs.

• Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively adapting for changing conditions.

Education:

• Degree in an Engineering Industrial, or equivalent discipline.
