Title: Global OS Quality Lead - 71341
This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
The Global Operator Station (OS) Quality Lead ensures that OS module teams around the globe have plans to achieve and maintain a distinctive product quality experience for customers. This requires the Global OS Quality Lead to establish and maintain customer data streams and interactive dashboards that give OS module teams insight into the biggest opportunities for improvement in design, manufacturing, and supply base. The Global OS Quality Lead manages the comprehensive quality improvement project portfolio for OS Module Engineering and leads problem resolution teams on systemic issues that cut across business units. As a Global OS Quality Lead for ISG in Urbandale, IA you will:
Implement and maintain consistent tools and processes for managing customer quality data
Lead conversations in management review forums about global OS plans to sustain a distinctive product quality experience for customers
Apply data and analytics to yield insights into our best opportunities for continuous improvement
Lead cross functional problem resolution teams

What Skills You Need
Professional practice in a product development, continuous improvement, or customer support capacity.
Demonstrated application of standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis, and Inferential Statistics.
Project management skills (managing project schedules and risks).
Team / Interpersonal skills (ability to lead change and influence without authority).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes in areas such as assembly, test/verification, welding, injection molding, casting, bending, etc.
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience in a customer facing role
Experience in data analytics
Six sigma mastery (practice at the green belt or black belt level)
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or technology discipline
