Onsite/Remote: Remote Position

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change .

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Owner – DevOps Infrastructure for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group, located Remote you will….

  • Partner with a broad set of stakeholders to negotiate priorities for, define, and execute the DevOps Infrastructure strategy for ISG Embedded products

  • Define product functionality and manage conflicting priorities for a development team, maintaining and refining the product backlog to ensure the team is working on the top priority based on stakeholder needs.

  • Collaborate with other ISG Embedded DevOps teams to provide a comprehensive DevOps service offering, including Infrastructure, Developer Environments, and Workflow Support.

  • Partner with IT to leverage and incorporate enterprise infrastructure and technologies to meet the needs of ISG Embedded stakeholders.

What Skills You Need

  • 5+ yrs of experience providing DevOps infrastructure (build systems, artifact management, etc)

  • Demonstrated experience articulating the tangible and intangible business value of outcomes

  • Experience using data or requirements analysis to identify and prioritize work for the product team

  • Culture of influencing without authority

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure products and solutions

  • Experience with embedded software engineering

  • Demonstrated excellent collaboration and communication skills across a broad set of users or stakeholders

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
