Your Responsibilities
As a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor for Valley City Seeding located in Valley City, ND , you will Manage the day-to-day warehousing operations and staff, ensuring that parts are delivered to both internal and external customers in a timely manner.

Manage the day-to-day shipping, receiving, and material flow functions and staff.
Select inbound freight companies based on delivery rates, damage claims, and overall cost.
Develop and maintain work instructions for receiving clerks, crating, shipping clerks, material movers, and warehouse operations.

What Skills You Need
3 or more years of good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
3 or more years using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
3 or more years using company information systems and processes - SAP, Power BI, Ignition, and SharePoint.
3 or more years with working knowledge of logistics processes and applicable governmental regulations.
3 or more years motivating individuals toward higher levels of performance that are aligned with the organization’s vision and values.
What Makes You Stand Out
Working knowledge of SAP in an operations environment.
Supervisory experience, which includes placement, work direction, coaching, and performance management.
Logistics work experience in such areas as warehousing, materials management, transportation.
Experience in areas such as export documentation, government regulations, freight forwarding and brokerage.
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Degree in a Business/Management or Supply Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
