Title: Electrical Controls Engineering Supervisor - 99017

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Engr. Supervisor, Operator Station for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Waterloo, IA , you will lead, develop, and supervise a group of engineers working across an array of existing and new product programs and projects. In addition, you will:

  • Lead the team that designs, develops, and implements technology stack solutions and features including technical and system requirements, goals, and associated resource allocation

  • Deliver and implement complex operator control solutions across both Production and Precision Ag and Small Ag and Turf utilizing the EPDP process to meet program goals

  • Ensure performance of overall solution / product is met with respect to having appropriate requirements and managing business and design trade spaces

  • Collaborate with other functional teams and stakeholders such as product management, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality in order to set appropriate strategy, goals, and plans to achieve success

What Skills You Need

  • Five or more years of demonstrated experience in design and development of systems or modules

  • Four or more years of demonstrated supervisory and talent development experience

  • Skills, knowledge, and experience with product development and delivery processes and models

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Controls design and development skills and experience (3+ years)

  • Off road vehicle product development experience Customer and/or dealer facing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple, including global, units (for example: Europe, India, Mexico and U.S.)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, or Computer Science / Information Technology

  • Advanced STEM Field studies
