Title: Embedded Software Engineer - 53534

Your Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Engineer for John Deere’s Product Engineering Center, you will be part of a team that develops high quality software for Electro Hydraulic Systems using Model Based Systems Design principles. You will be responsible for Simulink Model development, unit testing and on-time delivery of subsystem artifacts.

What Skills You Need

  • Experience with software development for embedded control system applications

  • Experience with model-based software development tools (i.e. Simulink/Stateflow)

  • Experience in C programming language

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

  • Experience with control systems design and analysis on agricultural or electro hydraulic applications

  • Experience in the field of Mechatronics with a solid understanding of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Ag Engineering or equivalent with an emphasis in embedded control system software
