Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa (US-IA) - Waterloo

Function: Product Engineering

Title: Engineer - 59171

Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer for the Product Engineering Center, located in Waterloo, IA, you will design, model, analyze, and complete detailed drafting for parts and assemblies for transmission continuous improvement and new product programs. In addition, you will:

  • Use PDM and Creo Parametric to design and release changes

  • Support factory and customer support on transmission hardware and controls issues

  • Lead identification of root cause for field return transmissions

  • Utilize CANgraph to diagnose transmission issues

  • Lead and support multiple projects

What Skills You Need

  • Education with a concentration in Power and Machinery

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge pertaining to machine design, hydraulic systems and controls

  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical skills and ability to work independently as well as with others

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

  • 1 or more years of internships with exposure to design, manufacturing, and testing

  • Experience with GD&T

  • Experience with design and analysis tools such as CAD, FEA, CFD, Matlab, Romax or similar

  • Mechanical or farm background with on-highway or off-highway equipment

  • Engineering work experience or exposure to drivetrain engineering

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
