Title: Lead Tour Coordinator

Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Lead Tour Coordinator for John Deere Waterloo Operations located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will

  • Assist in providing "front line" representation for John Deere between our Company, John Deere Dealers, John Deere Customers and potential customers

  • Provide the Gold Key process for our large tractor operations, and communicate and coordinate daily with the customers and dealers on equipment purchased for participation in the Gold Key programs; align all factory visits and special programs for factories, dealers, customers and farmers from the U.S. and overseas, supporting these visits with marketing engagement, as requested

  • Manage work direction for the contingent tour guides and the coordinator position associated with all aspects of Guest Services, including the Gold Key tours, VIP tours, special tours, i.e. schools, Make-A-Wish, etc.

  • Assist with public tour coordination and tours at other Waterloo locations, as needed

What Skills You Need

  • 1 or more years of experience in customer service

  • 1 or more years of experience leading without authority

  • 2 or more years of experience with process documentation and management

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent writing skills, grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style written and verbal

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience working with dealer and customer service programs and processes

  • Farming background and/or knowledge of John Deere


Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Communications/Journalism discipline or equivalent experience
