Your Responsibilities
As a Module Manager, Controls Product Verification & Validation (PV&V), Sensors & Engine Control Unit (ECU) Interface for John Deere Power Systems & John Deere Engine Works located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will...
Manage and develop a growing engine controls PV&V team
Manage the ongoing engine sensor suite development and its team
Manage the interface (primarily through functional requirements) to our ECU platform development at ISG-Fargo
Be responsible for department budgeting, strategic plan development, and performance management of the team

What Skills You Need
3 or more years of experience managing and developing engineering teams
3 or more years of experience managing to budgets and project timelines
3 or more years of embedded software and hardware PV&V experience
3 or more years of experience developing and applying embedded hardware systems, including controllers, sensors, and actuators
What Makes You Stand Out
Significant engine controls experience
Familiarity with and experience developing both embedded hardware and software
Significant embedded control systems PV&V experience
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related work experience. Advanced degree is a plus
