Title: Operations Forecast Analyst - Branch 18-90922

Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position

This position is eligible for partial telework at the present time.The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As an Operations Forecast Analyst for John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will.

  • Lead annual planning cycle activities (planning/structure line development; original budget) for the John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) Marketing Branch

  • Support the Marketing, Engine & Battery Engineering capital process

  • Lead world-wide overhead budget development for JDPS Branch 18 & 2B

  • Prepare insightful financial analysis

  • Prepare monthly financial exhibits/reporting and provide council to unit leadership

What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience in Accounting & Finance roles

  • Demonstrated capability to understand details, evaluate data and provide insight/counsel to others

  • Demonstrated initiative and confidence in ability to problem solve

  • Effective communications skills: ability to work in a collaborative team environment and engage cross functionally with domestic and international business

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience and conceptual understanding of the annual planning processes (structure lines, planning lines, etc.)

  • Experience with capital justification, DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) analysis

  • Marketing/Branch experience

  • Ability to drive efficiency through process improvement

  • Prior PbyP (Profit by Product) experience


Ideally you will have a college degree or relevant equivalent experience in the following

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
