Function: Customer & Product Support

Title: Part-Time Student Data Analyst - Waterloo, IA - 53189

Your Responsibilities

  • In this position, we need a candidate with strong data/analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • This individual will work with the Waterloo Customer Product Support and Parts teams, factory, and enterprise counterparts to develop dashboards and reports to assist in making information easier, faster, and simpler to access to drive improved, data driven business decisions.

  • Specifically, this position will have responsibility to enhance our Qlikview dashboards and update the behind-the-scenes database tables to support.

  • This position will also have responsibility to create training and documentation for retention of knowledge.

  • Finally, this position will be highly engaged in gathering content and supporting documentation for our Large Tractor Mobile App.

What It Takes

  • Strong data and analytical skills

  • Effective communication

  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Access, Outlook)

  • Attention to detail

  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or equivalent

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Graduation date of December 2020 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Previous data analysis/report generation experience (pulling, filtering, sorting, and pivot tables)

  • Previous experience with Qlikview

  • General business experience

  • Experience with John Deere or our products
